Though God has big plans, He works through small people. People who find salvation achieve this through personal choices made in specific circumstances. God works through individuals, showing no favoritism, holding everyone accountable for their own behavior. But once started, He promises to never give up on them.
One of the first and most often repeated commands God gave to His people was to be fruitful and multiply. This was more than the simple instruction to populate the earth, it was a mindset meant to permeate every aspect of our lives. And if followed, it will lead a people to the peace and prosperity they desire.
What is God doing? This is one of the great mysteries that wise men have searched out and longed to understand. From the beginning, God has given man insight into how history would turn out. Inspired words have been written down for thousands of years, providing context for the impactful events of history…for those who bother to read them.
Jesus healed all manner of people and ailments. But the common factor in these miracles was belief by the one being healed. Why aren’t more people getting healed today? Is it because fewer people actually believe that God will heal them? When we focus on unimportant things, we move farther away from the life we desire to live.
