God desires to connect with His creation. Much of history consists of God’s plan to reach out to mankind. The story of the Bible tells of man’s response to this calling.
When the Kingdom of God is established, everything will be created a new - the old will be wiped away. The only thing of ours that will endure will be our faith. A faith in the promise that any who believe in Him will be raised up to a new life.
As we attempted to remove the leavening from our houses this week, we also understand that we are to incorporate the (unleavened) body of Jesus Christ into our bodies - that He is the source of new life. But accepting this new life requires more than just believing…it requires doing.
